Epic Reading Site

 Hello,

I want to show you a reading site that my class uses all the time. It is called Epic. If you are a student, then click on the class code button. If you don't get what I mean I will show you a picture of it.

Here is the picture: 

    

As you can see, it is next to educators and blog. You can ask your teacher so they can tell you the class code, then you can choose your profile and start reading! But wait, what if you don't have a profile? Well you can make one! Scroll down to the bottom of the page, then click on create new profile.

It will look like this: 

        

Then you put your name in the 2 boxes, but you have to write you full name, first name in the first box, and last name in the second box. You can also choose your profile picture! Once you are in, you can start reading books, and whenever you read a book, you level up! Also, there are badges you can earn, and the best badge is reaching level 50! You can also edit your profile, by choosing which picture, and which border!

Now, if you are a parent, you have to click on this link to get to epic. and you have to click on Parents, Get 30 Days Free! There are the same features, in this version, except, you don't have to find your name! The best thing about Epic is that you can do it anywhere, anytime, and on a chrome book, laptop, or even an iPad!

Book Creator

 Hello,

Today, I want to show you a site called Book Creator It is a site where you can publish your own books, but before you write any books, you have to get a code from your teacher so you can join a library, but remember, you can only make 40 books! If you are not a student, you can choose teacher, then sign in with you account. You can make a reading book, or even a comic! I have made a comic called The Mysterious House. It is about 2 investigators, Jenny and Kate. They both live next to a very strange house, and they need to find out what is going on in there.

My Feelings

 Hi Everyone,

Today, in our google meet session, our task was to make a blog post about our feelings. We have written them in a google doc, and our teacher has asked us to copy and paste them on our blogs. Mine is about my birthday, which is going to happen in about 4 days. Did you know that my birthday is on Monday, when we all go to school!

Here is my writing:

I am looking forward to my birthday because it is next week on Sunday. I am feeling excited because I am going to turn nine in four days. I was feeling upset because my gifts that we ordered, didn’t come for about a week.

Before we went into lock down, my school was doing the Ako Hiko film festival. but then lock down came. So, now we have to do the mini film festival challenge. We can make our own movies, and we can also edit them if we want! I have made mine, and I think your gonna like it!

My Weekly Quiz

 Hi,

Today, I want to show you my weekly quiz. Usually, Mrs Eagleson and her class do it, but she emailed it to my teacher. We had to download it, so we could do it on google drawing. I am going to show you my google drawing one, since it has the answers circled. If you want to know how I circled it, keep reading.

* Click on the shapes button

* Click the first option, the shapes option

* Choose the second on the is a square, but with rounded edges

* Insert it onto the drawing

* Make the color transparent by clicking on the fill color, and choose the very first option, the transparent one

* Then, click on border color, which is right next to it

* You can choose which color you want the border to be ( I chose purple)

* Then go on the border weight, it should be next to the border color

* Choose the 3rd one

* Then, put your box over on the answer 

* If you want to make more boxes like that, you can copy and paste it

My Covid - 19 Poster

 Hi, 

Today, I want to share with you is my Covid - 19 poster. This time, I made it on Canva. Canva is a site that you can make stuff like posters, postcards, report cards and much more. I want to show you mine.

Lockdown

 Hi Bloggers, 

It's lock down again, which means we have to stay home. Since it is level 3 lock down, we can still do some things like: 

 * Going for walks

 * Go on a car drive, but don't get out of the car

 * Play outside in your own garden

 * Go out for groceries ( Only If needed)

 * Take your dog for a walk 

 * Having a party ( But don't invite people, enjoy time with family)

 Those are some things you can do, bit there are some things you can't do in level 3 lock down. These things can spread covid around more, and more and more people will have to isolate. 

Here are those things:

* Having huge gatherings

* Doing random stuff that in unnecessary outside

* Can't go into another persons house ( Or their bubble)

* Can't buy presents for birthdays and other events 

I know that there is much more things you can and can't do, but please comment if you know some more ideas, and I might use them and put them on.

Little Dot Adventure

Hi,

Little Dot Adventure is a game on Hour of Code. You have to make the ball go on the orange spot using the instructions. You have to choose a card with the right directions. You have to follow the instructions with your arrow keys. 

The arrow keys look like this: 

  

At first, you have to press the arrow on the space that says Little Dot Adventure, and you can start!
