My Writing

 Hello!

I want to show you my writing I completed today. I started it yesterday, but then I finished it off today. It's called: Waking the Giant.

Here it is:

The ground shook, the  birds began to panic. Trees were beginning  to fall. At first, there was silence, but, a few moments later, the ground began to shake again. People started to run, birds kept panicking, but there was no use, the rumbling sound kept on going.
A few minutes later, the shaking stopped, and people had locked themselves in their houses. It was just like an earthquake, people hiding underneath tables and their beds. Nobody knew what to do.

People knew that something woke the creature. The creature had big eyes, a humongous body. A person walked up to their window, and saw that the grass was just like his blanket. So that meant humans had been stepping on his blanket. What if that made him wake up? What if he didn’t want people stepping on the grass?

The boy told his mum to tell scientists about his idea. He wanted to know if his thinking was correct. The boy was desperate to find out, but he just had to wait. His mum agreed, but she had to find a way to get to the lab without the giant seeing her.
This was a big rusk, but she knew that she had to do it. She slowly opened the door, and took slow steps, she knew if the giant saw her, it would be a big problem. As soon as she got to the lab, she needed to find a scientist,

“I have a few questions to ask you,” the mum said.
“About the giant?” Asked one of the scientists. “Yes about that, so, what made the giant wake up?” The mum replied. “Well, it shows that the giant woke up because it actually needed to eat,” the scientist replied back.
“Wow”, said the mum, “I cannot believe this”. She raced back to her house, but as soon as she got there, the giant was gone. “Oh no! The giant has gone out of sight, what do I do?” she said. She went into her house and explained everything to her son.

“So I was wrong?” asked the boy. “Yes,” the mum said back. “But where is it?” the boy said. “I don’t know, it’s gone out of everyone’s sight” the mum said. “Oh” the boy said, sadly. A few days passed, and nothing had changed, the giant had gone! Everyone was happy about this, and then everyone returned to their jobs.

So, that's my writing, I hope you liked it!!

Writing of the Big Bad Wolf

Hi everyone,
I want to share my writing today. The writing is called the Big Bad Wolf. It is a descriptive writing that explains how I think the Big Bad Wolf is like.
                                                                              Here is my writing:

The Big Bad Wolf

In the deep dark forest, there lurked a terrible wolf, his name was the Big Bad
Wolf. He hides from people and peers through the leaves with his big, yellow
glowing eyes.  He lives in the lush, green forest and hides in the deepest part
of the forest that no one can see.

The Big Bad Wolf has razor-sharp teeth to eat its prey. He also has big, glowing
eyes to peer at people and other animals while they pass by. The Big Bad
Wolf has razor-sharp claws to tear through the leaves.

The Big Bad Wolf is selfish and very evil. He is very clever too. He uses his
ideas to trick people and animals. He is too terrifying for people to go into the
forest because he can scare people and animals.

In the story ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ the wolf did some very bad and
mischievous things. The things he did were pretending to be little red riding
hoods grandma and scare red riding hood away. He also pretended to be a
friend with Little red riding hood, and he also mimicked a voice. The voice he
mimicked was little red hood's grandma, who the wolf ate while little red riding
hood was coming.

I would never go to that forest because the big bad wolf can trick me as he did
to little red riding hood. Also because he is very mischievous and he can be
mean and he can be rude to me.

Lock-down Activities

Hi bloggers,

I just wanted you to know that in the lock -down, if you get bored, then I have a couple of activities for that you might like:

1: Read,
Reading is good education, and it helps you with anything! I have been reading books. If you do not have books at home, you can read online, and if you do not have internet and books, then you can write your own book

2: Writing,
Writing is a good exercise that can help your brain learn interesting words. You can get words from books, but you can use them in your writing. You can write it in your book with your pencil, or if you have the internet, then you can write online.

3: Health and Exercise
In the lock -down, you need to keep fit and healthy. If you have internet, then, on TVNZ 2 on weekdays, you can do exercise on 3:00.

4: Creativity,
Creativity is every where. you can do some creativity while the lock -down is happening.
Remember to stay safe and keep washing you hands. Were a mask and gloves if needed to.

Hope you will use them!
