SLJ: Insect Art

 Hello Viewers!

Today's Summer Learning Journey Task was: Insect Art. The instructions were that we had to collect stuff from our backyards and then turn them into an insect.

Here is mine:

Mine is made out of pebbles, two twigs, and mints. I used the twigs to make the antennas. I used the mints to make the wings. And, I used the pebbles to make the body. That makes a butterfly.

That's today's one!

  1. Kia Ora Mahrosh,

My name is Zana and I am a blog commenter from the Summer Learning Journey, it is awesome to see your first post of the summer and I look forward to seeing more as you continue blogging!

This was such a fun activity and I enjoyed seeing everyones amazing insects. I thought your butterfly was beautiful and I like how much detail you put into the shapes of the body and wings. The leaves are very symmetrical just like real butterflies and I think your antennas were cute.

I would like to know if you have a name for your butterfly?
Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of your posts over the summer.

    Ngā mihi nui,
    Zana Yates

    1. Hi Zana,
Thanks for commenting on my blog! Well, I don't actually have a name for my butterfly, but I would like to keep it's name Zoya.
