SLJ: Float your boat & Special place in Summer

 Hello,

This wasn't supposed to be late. Thursday's task was Float your boat and Special place in Summer.

Float your boat was easy, because we had to make a boat and float it on water while taking a video, or a picture. I took a video.

Here it is:

I hope you liked it.

The second one is Special place in Summer.

We had to make a google drawing and write sentences about why our family likes to go there in Summer. At the end, we put a picture of it in the drawing.

Here it is:

I like to go to Holiday Parks, as it says. I couldn't find one with a playground, but this is the best.

I hope you liked my blog post:)

SLJ: Ice Cream

 Hello,

Today's other task is about ice cream. We had to fill out a Google slides, then make a google drawing about what we had learnt. This is a Te Reo Maori task, so it was mostly in maori. One of the fun tasks were that we had to listen to an audio file, then try and write what it says in maori, then, we deleted a box to find out if we were right, i got 1/3, but I tried.

Here is my google drawing:

I hope you like it, you can use google translate to find out what they are saying, more soon!

Monday SLJ: Building a Sundial

 Hello,

Yesterday's Nanogirl task was to create a Sundial. A Sundial is something that people used in the olden days to tell the time. The way it works is that you have to put it in a position that sun will come, and you can tell the time from there.

When I put mine in the sun, it looked pretty cool. It was like an actual clock, but without the numbers and the hands and the rest of the stuff. We made our one out of cardboard, and it was fun!

Here is my Sundial:

I hope you liked it. I did it in the evening, so that's what it looked like.
Today's one is coming!
